Hello!
We are Hans and Marijo. Traveling and enjoying out free moments together since 2016. We are trying to keep a nice balance between "more local" and "far-away travels".
Since we are one Dutch living in the Netherlands (Hans) and one Croatian living in Austria (Marijo), quite a few of our travels are between those three countries and surroundings.
When ever, and where ever we travel one of the important to-do things is exploring the local cuisine. Trying new things, asking many questions and figuring out how something delicious is prepared.
Once we get back home we do our best to recreate those dishes and keep the vacation feeling with us even longer. Sometimes those projects are quite simple. Other times its hard to even find all the necessary ingredients. But just to be honest: No matter how hard we try, sometimes we just cant get it close to the dish we tasted abroad. In that case, we just need to travel back again! :-)
