You know that little Italian pizza place we ate at? Well it is not the same dough, but its really close to it! :-) Time needed: 5-6 hours (incl. proving time) Ingredients (for 10 pizzas)
Method
1. In a large bowl mix the room temperature water with yeast and honey and stir until the honey has completely dissolved 2. Add 2/3 of the flour and mix with a spoon or spatula into a doulg 3. Let the dough rest for 1 hour at room temperature (cover the bowl with some plastic wrap and a kitchen towel) 4. Add the remaining flour, salt and olive oil and make a dough (you can either knead the dough by hand or use the mixer with the dough hook). Knead for about 5 to 10 minutes 5. Transfer the dough to a work surface and spread a thin layer of oil over the dough. Cover it with plastic wrap and a kitchen towel. Let it rest at room temperature for 1 hour 6. Cut the dough into individual pizza balls. Each ball should be around 250 g (approx. 9 oz). Form the balls with some flour and put them onto a floured baking tray or some other container. 7. Generously flour the pizza balls, cover them with plastic wrap and a kitchen towel and let them prove for 4 to 8 hours at room temperature 8. Take one pizza ball at the time (use a dough scraper for this) and put it i a bowl of flour (both sides) 9. Form your pizza on a working surface and add your toppings 10. Bake in the oven set to the highest temperature possible for about 5 to 10 minutes (baking time will depend from your ovens temperature) Have a bite! :-) Tips: Calculating your ingredients I guess, you wont be making 10 pizzas that often, so here is a little help to calculate your ingredients for the number of pizzas you need to make! For a calculator click here! Keeping it fresh If you make more dough than you need you can always keep it in the fridge. At step 7 (after proving it for 4 hours) just put your pizza dough in the fridge and take it out the next day to make your pizzas. Give the dough at least one hour at room temperature before you start forming your pizza)
